Well I guess since I got so far behind with our old blog, and since we have added to the family I am going to start a whole new one. Our family has been crazy busy lately. So this will be a quick run through of the last few months and I will really try to keep it updated better.
Hayden started tumbling at a place called The Little Gym about 3 months ago, and he loves it. He looks forward to going every Saturday. It has been so good for him, he's learning tons of coordination and also how to play better with kids his age.
Then, of course, little Kipton James came along on September 17. He was 7 lbs 5 oz 21 inches long. He is so much fun. Now at 11 weeks, he has such a fun personality. He loves to smile and laugh. Kipton is a big boy though, unlike his brother. :) At his 2 month doctor appointment he weighed in at 13.1 lbs (in the 82%) and 23.75 inches. I can't believe how big he is. Hayden in an AMAZING big brother. He is always checking to make sure that Kipton is ok. If he starts crying, he gives him is foola (pacifier) or talks to him and tells him he's ok. I can't wait for Kipton to get a little bigger so they can play together.
Halloween was fun and busy because there was a lot of family in town. Hayden was a cow and Kipton was a little ghost. We did trick-or-treating at Ryan's work and also at the mall because the weather was awful that day. It was fun to have so much family around for the weekend.
Kipton was blessed on October 31 and we were able to have all the family in town for it. It turned out so great and Ryan gave a beautiful blessing. Everyone was in tears. Ry's uncle said that during the blessing Kipton was wide awake just staring at Ryan while he gave the blessing. It was wonderful.
Ryan and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on November 9th. Didn't do anything too spectacular, just dinner and a movie. We are planning a big anniversary trip next year for our 5th.
We had Thanksgiving in St. George with Ryan's family. We were there for almost a week. it was kind of funny because my in-laws are in the process of building a home so for now they are in a condo so it was a very tight fit to get everyone there. Lots of air mattresses and suitcases in the hallway. We had a good time though. Ry and I decided it would be fun to do some day after Thanksgiving shopping and took it to the max. We left the house at 9 PM Thursday night for the outlets and waited in line at Children's Place, which opened at 10. From there we went to Wal-Mart, Kohls, K-Mart, and Lowes. We got back to his moms house with a completely full car at 6:45 AM. It was exhausting, but so much fun to spend that time together .
Well that's pretty much our lives for the last few months. I put some pictures up to go with the update. They probably aren't in order. :)
